About Country Style Homes:
Country house plans typically have a front porch, dormers and a roof line that runs parallel to the main road. Country House plans also have a large front porch with an open railing which are often seen wrapping around one or both sides of the house which are a sure sign of a country home. There is also a back porch which is usually smaller than the front. No matter what the square footage of the home, these homes usually appear small or quaint. Exteriors are usually some form of clapboard siding.
